Who we are

eRep Captcha Solver ("we", "us") runs erep-captcha-solver.eu and its Tampermonkey script. We are responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email contact@erep-captcha-solver.eu.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and password. The password is stored only as a salted hash, which can't be turned back into the password.
• Devices: the eRepublik username and device names you enter, and when each device was last used. Device keys are stored only as hashes.
• Captchas: each captcha image the script sends, the clicks the solver returned, whether eRepublik accepted them, and when. Captcha images are pictures generated by the game and contain nothing about you.
• Billing: your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and the subscription's status. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser user agent and request details in our server logs, kept to keep the service running and to stop abuse.

The script only reads the captcha image and your eRepublik username from the page. It never reads your eRepublik password, cookies, messages, or anything else in your game account.

Why we use it

• To provide the service: solving captchas, and showing your devices, statistics and history. This is needed to perform our contract with you.
• To send account emails: email verification, password resets and billing notices. We don't send marketing emails.
• To bill your subscription through Stripe.
• To keep the service secure and working: rate limits, preventing abuse and investigating errors. This is our legitimate interest.
• To improve the solver: captcha images and whether each solve worked are used to train and test the model. Copies used for this carry no link to your account. This is our legitimate interest in a service that keeps working as the game changes.

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe, which processes payments (Stripe's privacy policy).
• Our hosting and storage providers, where the website, database and captcha images live.
• Our email delivery provider, which sends account emails.
• Our logging and monitoring provider, which receives server logs.

We don't sell your data and don't use advertising or analytics trackers. We would disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It also protects forms against cross-site request forgery and lasts up to 30 days. The dashboard also remembers the chart range you last picked in your browser's local storage. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, devices and solve history while your account exists. Server logs are kept for a limited time for troubleshooting and security. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data. Billing records Stripe must keep for tax and accounting reasons stay with Stripe. Captcha images already copied into our training set may be kept, since they carry no link to you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of your data, or send it to another service;
• correct data that is wrong;
• delete your data;
• restrict or object to how we use it.

Email contact@erep-captcha-solver.eu from the address on your account and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The service is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll tell you by email first.
